2 modes of equalization are provided with 30 band graphic or 6 band parametric.

Both modes also include High Pass and Low Pass filters, 4 Notch filters, Delay of up to 714ms at 44.1KHz sampling, hum canceling facility and polarity reverse.

The display and setting can be either graphical or text with rotary encoders provided for Frequency, Q and Gain.

These encoders also adjust other functions in the different modes. Channels can be adjusted independently or linked.

40 memories are  provided for non volatile storage of settings.

The DEQ5 can also act as a master for up to 23 DEQ5E slave equalizers with the same facilities. All equalizers can be controlled via the RS485 interface and the QS1 software.
